Office of Statewide Clinical Education Programs (OSCEP) Physician Consultation

OSCEP provides consultative services to physicians interested in Iowa medical practice opportunities.

The following services are provided at no cost:

• Preparation and distribution of the Directory of Iowa Practice Opportunities in Selected Medical Specialties
• Assessment of practice preferences and advice on practice site selection criteria
• Assistance with CV preparation
• Identification of important considerations concerning specific opportunities
• Confidential inquiries regarding practice opportunities
• Assistance in arranging preceptorships
• Assistance in negotiations with established physicians, hospitals and community recruitment groups
• Assistance to physicians after they begin a new practice.

The following services have a cost:
