Sunday activities will be in the Medical Education Research Facility (MERF) in the MERF Atrium and the Courtyard behind MERF. There is parking in the Newton Road Parking Ramp across the street to the North of MERF. Please sign in at the MERF Atrium by walking on the sidewalk parallel to MERF (West side of the building). At the top of the hill, there will be a set of four doors that will bring you into the MERF Atrium.

Saturday, September 24: Once a Hawkeye - Always a Hawkeye

Saturday night is designated for individual classes to spend time together catching up at various locations around Iowa City. If your class is interested in setting something up, please contact the PA Program at 319-335-8922 for assistance.

Come see what the UI PA Program looks like today. We are excited to show you our current facilities, as we know many of you have not seen our location and facilities within the Carver College of Medicine and the Medical Education Research Facility. This is a family friendly event.

Monday, September 26: Denis R. Oliver Endowed Chair Medallion Ceremony
Denis R. Oliver (Program Director: 1976-1997) 
David P. Asprey (Program Director: 1997-2012)
The University of Iowa PA Program received a generous gift to establish the Denis R. Oliver Endowed Chair for the Department of Physician Assistant Studies and Services.
The program faculty and staff unanimously selected David P. Asprey, Ph.D., PA-C as the recipient of the Endowed Chair.
Come celebrate this monumental event for the Department of Physician Assistant Studies and Services and David P. Asprey. The event will begin at 6:00 PM at Backpocket Brewery prior to the 5o Years of Excellence Celebration.
Monday, September 26: Celebrate 50 Years of Excellence
Come celebrate our 50th anniversary milestone! The PA Program will host an evening reception after day one events of the Iowa PA Society Fall Conference.
- Location: Backpocket Brewery in the Coralville River Landing next to the Hyatt Regency (we have rented out the entire place for this event)
- Time: Start Time is 6:00 pm
- Food will be provided.
- A pre-determined number of drink tickets per person will be provided.
