Introduction
Fifteen years of practicing physical therapy in metropolitan and rural regions of Iowa in a range of settings from emergency departments to extended care facilities. Currently leading multiple classes in the Department of Physical Therapy curriculum for DPT students and serving as an Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education. Passion for providing high quality health care and service to the elderly and people who suffer from neurological injury/disease.

Research Interests
- Development of an interdisciplinary experience between graduate students in speech and language pathology and physical therapy students focused on the utilization of the SBAR technique to promote effective communication between healthcare providers.
- Pilot research project with the Center for Teaching on the effectiveness of a blended learning class design
