Professor of Pediatric Radiology and Neuroradiology, Yutaka Sato, MD, PhD, was recently awarded the 2018 Jack O. Haller Award for Excellence in Teaching by The Society For Pediatric Radiology's (SPR) Research and Education Foundation.  He is one of two 2018 recipients to receive the award. 

The award is given in "memory of Jack O. Haller who excelled as an educator, mentor, and author. His ability and enthusiasm stimulated many young medical students and residents to pursue pediatric radiology. To be awarded yearly to that individual who has demonstrated evidence of outstanding ability to educate trainees (medical student, resident, and fellow) who has shown sustained substantial excellence in mentorship skills."

He will be recognized for this distinction at the May 2018 SPR Annual Meeting in Nashville, TN.  The awardees receive $1,000 cash prize.
