Sonia Sugg, MD, Clinical Professor of Surgery, has been elected Vice President of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons (AAES) at the organization's 39th Annual Meeting held May 6-8, 2018, in Durham, North Carolina. The AAES is the premier academic society in endocrine surgery. Dr. Sugg holds the Holden Professorship in Breast Cancer Surgery and is the Medical Director of the Breast Health Clinic at the UIHC. Dr. Sugg can be seen on the right in the accompanying photo taken at the meeting with fellow endocrine surgeons James Howe, MD, and Geeta Lal, MD, MSc.
