Graduate student, Anurag Kakkerla Balaraju, successfully passed his comprehensive examination on Thursday, June 15, 2017 in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology. The title of his proposal was "Role of Glypican-4 in early endoderm morphogenesis". Anurag received his B.S. from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India and his M.S. from Idaho State University. He began studies in the Cell and Developmental Biology Graduate Program in 2016 under the mentorship of Dr. Fang Lin. His current research focuses on understanding how Glypican-4 controls planar cell polarity in zebrafish endoderm. Congratulations Anurag!
