On Monday November 14th, Cell and Developmental Biology Program student Vitaly Ievlev defended his thesis identifying how airway stem cell fate decisions during regeneration are influenced by Sox9, Wnt, Krt14 and Krt15.

In December he will begin an interim postdoc in the labs of John Engelhardt and Kal Parekh at the University of Iowa.
