Welcome to the Department of Anesthesia at the University of Iowa. We are located on campus at the Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City. Our department has been a leader in clinical care, education, and research for many decades. We continue to lead. Our faculty members are diverse, our trainees participate in a broad spectrum of innovative education programs, our research faculty continue to push the knowledge envelope, and our collaborative, team-based care approach results in excellent clinical care for the citizens of Iowa and beyond.
