The University of Iowa Department of Anesthesia is seeking qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our team.  

Position Description:

This position is awarded to a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists(CRNAs) with outstanding credentials and accomplishments in the science underlying our specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-op patient evaluation and coordinate the anesthetic plan in collaboration with the anesthesia faculty physician
  • Administer the anesthetic plan with a team approach in all anesthetizing locations
  • Perform post-op patient evaluation and care
  • Provide timely documentation of post-op visits on the anesthetic record

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates must show successful graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
  • Qualified candidates must show a current Iowa nursing license or eligibility and proven clinical experience
  • New graduates encouraged to apply
