Education Requirement:
- Candidates must hold an MD, DO, or equivalent degree
- Successful completion of an approved residency training program in Anesthesiology
Required Qualifications:
- Candidates must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Iowa
- Candidates must be board-certified in Anesthesiology (or non-US Board equivalent) or be in the certification process. On occasion, individuals trained outside of the United States who are certified by an equivalent national certification group may be considered.
- Candidates must demonstrate experience working effectively in a diverse environment
Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association
Desirable Qualifications:
- American Board of Anesthesia Pediatric Certification
- Previous formal supervisory experience is a plus
- Fellowship training or equivalent clinical experience in Pediatric Anesthesia
- Experience in teaching and clinical research
