Mission Statement

The University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics Center for Procedural Skills and Simulation is dedicated to providing quality, level appropriate simulation education to a variety of medical learners, advancing the science of simulation education through research and promoting patient safety through effective simulation education.

Vision

Create a single UIHC simulation organization with the facilities, resources, structure and expertise to enable all clinical applications to access the highest quality intra- and interprofessional simulation education at all levels of medical education.

Learning Objectives

Education in a state-of-the-art simulation center providing training and education for real life scenarios in a safe professional environment with tools found in areas within hospitals and clinics. Learn how to interpret, analyze, gauge, and perform based on skills built and grown within the simulation center that transition to everyday practices of clinical providers.
