Ahmed named GREAT MBA Instructor of the year

Azeemuddin Ahmed, MD, MBA, clinical professor of emergency medicine in the Carver College of Medicine and adjunct professor of management and organizations in the Tippie College of Business has recently been voted GREAT Instructor of the Year by second year executive MBA students.

Each year, first and second year executive MBA classes vote for two faculty members to receive the award. Recipients are nominated based on teaching that is making a difference in the lives of today's executive MBA students. Specifically, faculty receive votes based on:

G: Genuine interest in students' success in both work environment and classroom
R: Relevancy of all materials presented in the classroom to the students' business
E: Enthusiasm and excitement in the delivery of materials
A: Application orientation in all concepts and models
T: True testimony to the value of the delivered program.

Ahmed was formally recognized Saturday, May 9 during the program's graduation dinner.
