Congrats to Dr. Mikati on her case being accepted to the CPC competition at CORD. Dr. Mikati was mentored by Dr. Pomeranz who now gets to be a faculty discussant at CORD. Here is a clip from the announcement….

"Congratulations!  The case you submitted, Fever, Pain, and Trepidation in the ED , has been selected for this year’s National Emergency Medicine CPC Semi-Final Competition.  One hundred five cases were submitted, and all were blindly judged by at least five different members of the CPC Task Force. Your case has been selected as one of the top 72 cases.  Your residency program is invited to present your case at the Semi-Final Competition in conjunction with CORD 2023 Academic Assembly."
