Congratulations to Abbygale Willging, a medical student mentee of Dr. House, who was recently selected for the 2022 Gold Student Summer Fellowship to pursue a project “Survey of Traditional Home Remedy Use in Patients Presenting to the Emergency Department in Riobamba, Ecuador.” For her project, she will be supported with a stipend to travel to Ecuador to conduct evidence-based research to develop a future model incorporating home remedy practices into a holistic model of healthcare. Nice work, Abbygale!
