The University of Iowa has been awarded an unrestricted grant from Research to Prevent Blindness (RPB) to support vision research activities conducted by the department of ophthalmology and visual sciences. Grant funding runs through 2021 and provides $115,000 in support this year. “We are thrilled to have received RPB’s continued support of our research efforts. These funds help our early stage researchers with projects that have great potential to preserve and restore vision,” states Keith Carter, MD, department chairman.
