Guest Speaker Deborah Klimek, MD, Associate Professor of Ophthalmology, Pediatric Ophthalmology, Marshall Health Course Description:  The William E. Scott Visiting Professor Series brings leaders in the fields of pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, neuro-ophthalmology, and orthoptics to the University for a day-long session of lectures, presentations, and teaching discussion. Each visiting professor delivers a presentation at our department’s Morning Rounds (45 min); a lecture to pediatric ophthalmology faculty, orthoptists and other trainees (45 min.); and 2.5 hours of case presentations and discussion.  Pediatric ophthalmologists and orthoptists from private practice or other academic medical centers are welcome to attend. Educational activity sponsored by the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, University of Iowa 4.0 Core hours of continuing education credit is provided through the American Orthoptic Council.
