Research is one arm of the tripartite mission of the Department of Family Medicine. To enhance research within Family Medicine, we offer support for our faculty for grant applications, both within and outside the University of Iowa. 

Prior to submitting any grant application outside of the Department of Family Medicine, please use the link below and provide the requested information for your grant submission at least FIVE business days prior to the grant application’s due date (to either the Division of Sponsored Programs for external grants or grant submission due date for UI grants).

Our research team is available to assist with budget preparation and grant review, as needed.  Please indicate any assistance needed on the form.
