The IIHG Genomics Division provides custom oligonucleotides and synthetic DNA ordering supplied by a commercial vendor to University of Iowa investigators. The Division has negotiated a bulk-rate discount with the vendor, which is passed along to orders placed through the division’s on-line ordering system.
Log on to on-line ordering system
- Access to the on-line ordering system requires that an investigator first set up an account with the IIHG Genomics Division.
- To set up an account, please email iihg-genomics@uiowa.edu.
- Logon to the online ordering system using their HawkID and password.
- Once the user has logged on, the commercial oligonucleotide vendor is selected, and the user is ported to the vendor’s web site to shop and place their order.
- IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU SUBMIT YOUR CART AND CHECK OUT COMPLETELY OR THE ORDER WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.
- A confirmation e-mail will be sent. Please contact us at iihg-genomics@uiowa.edu if you do not receive an e-mail confirmation.
Turnaround Time
Requests for standard oligonucleotides (i.e., small scale synthesis, no purification or modifications) placed prior to 12:00pm are typically received the next business day. Non-standard oligonucleotide orders and synthetic DNA orders typically require 2 to 5 business days to complete.
