The Iowa Biosciences Academy (IBA) formally recognizes Molecular Medicine graduate student Reinaldo Franqui Machin for completion of National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) certified research mentor training. Mentoring supports the diversity and success of students who pursue research careers, which is the core mission of the NIH-funded Iowa Biosciences Academy program.  Therefore, IBA appreciates the commitment Reinaldo has made to high-quality undergraduate mentoring through active participation in this 8-week seminar series.
