Alternative Complement Pathway in C3 Glomerulopathies

My research focuses on understanding the roles of factors involved in alternative complement pathway activation and regulation. One of the main focuses of the lab are C3 glomerulopathies; we use ex vivo model to imitate the glomerular basement membrane and the processes that undergo on its surface during C3 convertase formation.
