Paige McCaslin, a first-year graduate student in the Microbiology Graduate Program, has been awarded the 2024 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship. This fellowship provides three years of support over a five-year time frame. Being selected as an NSF Graduate Research Fellow is a major achievement at the national level and many fellowship awardees have gone on to have successful careers in STEM or STEM education.
