Required MSTP Clinical Clerkships
In CCOM curriculum, MSTP students are required to complete a minimum of 67 weeks of clinical clerkships. Students typically complete 13 weeks prior to beginning the graduate phase and earn 4 weeks of credit during the graduate phase through MSTP Clinical Connections, leaving 50 weeks of clerkships to complete after the graduate phase. There is flexibility to schedule additional advanced electives as desired or as needed for residency preparation.
The required Core, Selective, and Advanced Clerkships are outlined below. Additional descriptions can be found on the CCOM Third Year (Core Clerkship Information) and Fourth Year (Advanced Clinical Curriculum) pages.
