Public Policy and Personal Health: Effective tools for combatting obesity
The rate of obesity has been increasing over the last few decades, so that more than 1 in 3 adults and more than 1 in 5 adolescents are now obese. This presentation will describe the costs to society of the high prevalence of obesity and discuss the effectiveness of public policies to reduce childhood obesity.
