Professor Kathleen Janz has been appointed to represent the National Academy of Kinesiology on an ad hoc committee to develop a national initiative to increase physical activity on college campuses. She will be working with representatives of the American College of Sports Medicine and American Academy of Kinesiology to develop a plan of action to increase information, visibility, and action-oriented physical activity promotion on the 800 plus college and university campuses in the US.
