All of Me Iowa Conference: Sexual Health and Oncology

Time: 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Location: University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, East Room (8th Floor)

The intended audience includes Oncology Nurses, ARNPs, PAs, Social Workers, and Physical and Mental Health Therapists. All providers who interface with patients impacted by cancer are welcomed to attend this conference. Topics include:

  • Patient testimonials - treatment side effects and care experience
  • Sex and shame - barriers to sexual health conversations
  • Trauma - informed sexual health care in an oncology setting
  • Physical therapy in treatment of cancer-related sexual problems
  • Challenges in adolescent and young adult sexual health care

Sexual scripts, communication, and HPV-related cancers panel, and more


  • 7:45 a.m. – Registration

  • 11:35 a.m. – Boxed Lunch - HPV Q & A
  • 12:35 p.m. – Session 2
  • 3:30 p.m. – Final Q and A
