Andrew J. Pugely, MD
Introduction
Dr. Andrew J. Pugely is an Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa. Dr. Pugely joined the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in July 2016. Dr. Pugely received his medical school training from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Health Care Delivery Science at Dartmouth. Dr. Pugely completed his residency at the University of Iowa before moving on to a fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Spine Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO., and then a fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Comprehensive Spine Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Pugely is the President of the Iowa Orthopedics Society, Vice Chair and a member of the North American Spine Society (NASS) Value Committee. He is a member of the Iowa Orthopedics Society, AO Spine North America, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Iowa Medical Society, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Pugely is dedicated to providing surgical care to adults with a wide variety of spine conditions.
