Benjamin J. Miller, MD, MS

Professor of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation

Introduction

My research interests are focused on improving the outcomes and ultimate function and quality-of-life after surgical removal of sarcoma. This includes participation in a number of clinical trials, both as a collaborator and primary investigator. I lead the Musculoskeletal Tumor Registry (MsTR), a national registry to record oncologic and functional outcomes in patients with sarcoma and metastatic disease of bone. I also collaborate with our biomechanics laboratory in development of a finite-element model of metastatic disease to bone.
