Dr. Patterson has focused his research efforts on improving clinical outcomes after shoulder and elbow surgery. His primary research interest involves advancing the field of shoulder replacement by investigating the technical aspects of anatomic and reverse shoulder arthroplasty. Dr. Patterson also has a particular interest in in improving patient satisfaction and remains an active researcher in this field.
