Eric Aschenbrenner, MD
Introduction
Eric Aschenbrenner, MD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor at UIHC in the department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation and also with service in Extended Care and Rehabilitation at the Iowa City Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He attended medical school at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI where he also completed his preliminary medicine intern year. Dr. Aschenbrenner subsequently completed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His clnical interest is in rehabilitation medicine, including amputee care, traumatic brain injury, musculoskeletal medicine, and sonographically guided musculoskeletal intervention.
