Matthew Hogue, MD

Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation

Introduction

Dr. Matthew Hogue is a Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Iowa. Dr. Matthew Hogue received his medical school training from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He completed residency in Orthopedics from the University of Iowa and a trauma fellowship from R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He joined the faculty in 2018 and focuses on the care of orthopedic trauma. His primary role as Clinical Assistant Professor is providing surgical care to patients with trauma injuries and educating residents regarding orthopedic trauma practices. He is member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Iowa Orthopaedic Society, Orthopaedic Trauma Association, and AOTrauma North America.
