Please welcome Dr. Nadia Naz as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Pancreatology, and Nutrition.
Dr. Naz received her MBBS from Dow University of Health and Science in Pakistan in 2008. Next, she completed medical work experience and externships from 2008-2014. Dr. Naz completed pediatric residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York in 2017, followed by completion of her pediatric gastroenterology fellowship in 2020 at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Washington University Medical Center. She recently completed an additional year of pediatric transplant hepatology training at Washington University School of Medicine in September 2021. Dr. Naz is board certified in Pediatrics and board eligible in Gastroenterology.
Dr. Naz will help rebuild the pediatric transplant hepatology program in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Pancreatology and Nutrition. She will staff pediatric specialty clinics at Stead Family Children’s Hospital and outreach, attend on the inpatient and consult service, share on-call responsibilities, and participate in teaching and educational activities within the Department. Her main research interest is in pediatric nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
