Amanda Paige (DPT2) is the first recipient of the Marilyn M. McCoid Scholarship.

David McCoid, husband of the late Marilyn McCoid, PT, established this scholarship fund in Marilyn's name.Marilyn graduated from the UI Physical Therapy Program in 1964. Marilyn practiced physical therapy at the hospital in Mount Pleasant, Iowa and also worked as a traveling physical therapist.

Lori Conrad (DPT3) and Patrick McCue (DPT2) are the 2012 recipients of the Frank Hazelton Memorial Scholarships.

In 1998, the family of the late Frank Hazelton, PT, established the scholarship fund for students enrolled in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at the University of Iowa. Frank was a 1959 graduate from the Certificate Program and received his MA in 1972.
