Janet Pollard, MD, has been appointed to serve as the Associate Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program. Dr. Pollard completed her medical training at the University of Oklahoma in 2004.  She went on to complete a Diagnostic Radiology Residency, Nuclear Medicine Residency and Body Imaging Fellowship at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  Dr. Pollard currently serves as Clinical Assistant Professor for the Nuclear Medicine Division at UIHC, and she also works as a radiologist for the Iowa City Veterans Administration Health Care System in the Department of Nuclear Medicine.  We are very excited to have her on board.

Dr. Pollard replaces Dr. Joan Maley, who served as Director from 2002-2011, and then Associate Director from 2011-2016.  Dr. Maley stepped down to assume the role of Vice Chair of Radiology.  We would like to thank Dr. Maley for her many years of excellent service and dedication to the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program.
