The Department of Radiology will host invited lecturer, Peter Herscovitch, MD, FACP, FRCPC, FSNMMI, for the Richard E. Peterson Memorial Nuclear Medicine Lecture. Dr. Herscovitch serves as Director of the PET Department at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center, as well as Chief of the Positron Emission Tomography Imaging Section at NIH. He is a recipient of the Presidential Distinguished Service Award from the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. He is the author of numerous articles and book/book chapters and lectures widely in PET imaging.
