We are pleased to announce the recipients of the Scot Heery Scholarships for the Spring 2022 semester.  In this unprecedented year, the three fall scholarship recipients will graduate in December.  Therefore, we are fortunate to offer scholarships to three additional deserving seniors.  The three applicants whose work ethic and daily commitment to quality patient care most closely aligned with the values and character that Scot Heery portrayed in his distinguished career are (as pictured left to right):

Katelyn Schulte – Diagnostic Medical Sonography - General and Vascular
Brie Baldus – Diagnostic Medical Sonography - General and Vascular
Taylar Pecinovsky – Nuclear Medicine Technology

The funding of these $2500 awards comes from a very generous gift presented to the University of Iowa Center for Advancement in Scot’s name by an anonymous donor.  The Scholarship’s Selection Committee, comprised of 7 individuals who knew Scot well, received and reviewed applications from many extremely qualified and deserving students, making the selection process a difficult one.
