Hannah Shrader, an undergraduate double-major in biochemistry and medical anthropology, was selected as one of the researchers to be included in the Dare to Discover Campaign showcasing student research at the University of Iowa during the year of 2020. Hannah was featured in the announcement on the News web page of the Office of the Vice President for Research, which is the office that sponsors the campaign. Hannah works in the lab of Dr. Carlos Chan, Assistant Professor of Surgery. Dr. Chan's lab studies the immunological impact of the standard Whipple procedure on the metastatis of pancreatic cancer.
