Research Summary

Dr. Bashir's clinical and teaching interests are in Adult cardiac surgery, minimally invasive valve surgery, Robotic assisted CABGs and transcatheter therapy. He is involved in multiple clinical trials in valve surgery PARTNER II trial, Magna mitral 23 study and Magna mitral post-approval study. He continues to mentor multiple clinical research projects in endocarditis, TMR and sternal closures.
