Physician Scientist Training Pathway

The Department of Internal Medicine is an enthusiastic participant in The Carver College of Medicine’s Physician Scientist Training Pathway (PSTP).

The PSTP was developed to foster the postgraduate training and career development of physician-scientists - future leaders in academic medicine. The Pathway integrates the transition period from completion of the MD degree through residency, clinical fellowship, and basic or clinical postdoctoral research training.

Interested applicants to the PSTP are encouraged to contact Dr. Joel Kline, co-director of the PSTP, with specific comments and questions about the Pathway.

David Stoltz, MD, PhD
