Twenty-one Department of Anesthesia faculty, 12 residents, and one staff member are scheduled to participate in various educational offerings at the 2019 annual meeting of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Oct. 19-23 in Orlando. The Department's emissaries will present six abstracts, 16 medically challenging cases, two oral presentations, and two workshops, and will participate in two panel discussions over the course of the meeting. The theme of this year's meeting is "Engaging Social Justice for a Better World."
