Completing a graduate school application is an exciting step! With that excitement might come some anxieties. The Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies is pleased to sponsor a seminar for summer undergraduate research participants aimed at providing information on completing a graduate school application. Topics will include

  • what to expect when completing your application
  • how to be competitive and make your application stand out
  • what admissions committees look for in potential students
  • personal and research statements - what they are and what to (and not to) include
  • plus much more!

Must be an individual of high school or undergraduate status who is conducting research at The University of Iowa during the summer of 2019.

Permission from your UI mentor to attend the workshop

Guidelines Participants must attend all sessions
