April 7 Doc Dash: A run to raise funds

Find your running shoes and mark your calendar for April 7. Participation in the 30th annual Doc Dash 5K Run and Walk benefits local health care resources.
Students from UI Carver College of Medicine are once again sponsoring the event, aiming to raise more than $18,000 for the Iowa City Free Medical Clinic and the UI Mobile Clinic.
They encourage runners and walkers of all ages and ability levels to join them for the 9 a.m. event April 7 at the Carver College of Medicine.
This year, children can participate in a fun-run—the Doc-ling Dash—starting at 8:30. Educational STEM activities will also be available for children from grades K-8.
