DoorDash, Ugly Footwear, and Good Fortune:  Lawyering at the Intersection of Innovation and the Law

What is it really like behind the curtain at firms like UberEats, DoorDash and other innovative tech companies?  Are they traditional corporations with employees or "simply" tech platforms that connect drivers, restaurants, and customers?  And why does it matter?  Boulder, CO based law partner Matt McKinney (Iowa 2002) sits across the negotiating table from these and many other major tech brands.  He will share the wide-ranging insights he's gained into the gig economy and the future of tech business innovation, as well as a few recommendations for navigating a career in the law.
