Wendy Maury, PhD, professor of microbiology and immunology in the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, has been appointed to the Mark Stinski Chair in Virology.  

Maury, who joined the Carver College of Medicine faculty in 1999, is an internationally recognized leader in virology research, with expertise in the molecular and cellular interaction of enveloped viruses with the host. Currently, her research focuses on virus entry and innate host immune responses to viral infection.
