Department of Neurology Welcomes New Faculty

Please join us in welcoming Dr's Killoran, Nowak, Nance, and Guerrero to the Department of Neurology!

Annie Killoran, MD joined us on August 1 as a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Killoran comes to us from West Virginia University with expertise in movement disorders including the treatment of dystonias with botulinum toxin injections. Dr. Killoran is a Huntington's disease expert and recently started a Parkinson's disease multidisciplinary clinic during her time at West Virginia. Dr. Killoran will divide her clinical time between General Movement Disorders, Botox, Ataxia, Huntington's, Resident COC, and the VAMC clinics.
Waldemar Nowak, MD joined us on July 1 as a full-time Associate. Dr. Nowak was one of our residents and he recently finished a Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship with us. Dr. Nowak's clinical responsibilities will span the EEG/CBM/IOM, Epilepsy and General outpatient, and VA COC clinics.
Christopher Nance, MD joined us on July 1 as a full-time Clinical Associate Professor. Dr. Nance also comes to us from West Virginia University where he was Director of their MDA clinic and EMG laboratory. He is an experienced neuromuscular neurologist with fellowship training in peripheral neuropathy/clinical neurophysiology. Dr. Nance wi ll divide his clinical time between EMG, Neuro-muscular, and VA clinics.
Waldo Guerrero, MD joins us on August 22 as a Visiting Associate and as a Fellow in NIR. Dr. Guerrero comes to us from the University of South Florida College of Medicine where he was an Assistant Professor and their Vascular Neurology Fellowship Director. Dr. Guerrero's clinical responsibilities will be with inpatient and outpatient Stroke clinics.
