Join us in the celebration
The Department of Neurology at the University of Iowa turns 100 in 2019 and is the third oldest neurology department in the United States. As part of our celebration, we will be hosting a special talk on Aug. 1 and a day-long symposium on Aug. 2, 2019.
On Thursday, Aug. 1, join us from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Prem Sahai Auditorium (1110 MERF) for a special lecture from former department chair Antonio Damasio, MD, PhD, David Dornsife Professor of Neuroscience, Professor of Psychology, Professor of Philosophy, and Director of the Brain and Creativity Institute at the University of Southern California.
Join us again on Friday, Aug. 2, from 8 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., in Prem Sahai Auditorium (1110 MERF) for a day-long symposium featuring faculty and guest speakers who are all alumni of the department. Talks will highlight the past, present, and future of the Department of Neurology at the University of Iowa.
