Introduction

Dr. Annie Killoran, MD is a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology and adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. A specialist in movement disorders, she brings a rich background in clinical care, research, and education. Dr. Killoran completed her medical degree at University College Dublin and pursued a fellowship in Experimental Therapeutics in Movement Disorders at the University of Rochester. She previously served as Director of the Movement Disorders Clinic at West Virginia University and currently directs the Movement Disorder Fellowship at Iowa. Dr. Killoran is also the founder of the UIHC Neuropalliative Care Clinic and a recognized leader in Huntington’s and Parkinson’s disease research, with numerous peer-reviewed publications and active roles in national and international clinical trials.
