Submit an Abstract for the Pharmacological and Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Retreat

We invite graduate students, postdocs, and research staff to submit an abstract for a poster presentation. 
There will be poster prizes in two presenter categories (graduate students and postdocs and an oral presentation prize for graduate students).

DEADLINE

The abstract submission deadline is Friday, July 20.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Posters should be mounted between 8:00 and 8:45 am and must be removed by 4:30 pm.  Presenters must be available to answer questions during the poster session.  Poster numbers will be assigned and will be available the morning of the retreat at the registration table.

PREPARATION OF ABSTRACTS

Abstracts must be submitted online by the presenting author.
Include title of abstract, name and degree of all authors (bold and underline the name of the presenting author), and institutional affiliation (author name should be preceded by a superscript number corresponding to their home institution).
The body of the abstract may not exceed 300 words and should include text only - no figures, text boxes, graphs or references.
Font should be Arial 11 point. Text should be single spaced.
File name of uploaded abstract should read - Presenting Author Name (ex. lastname_firstname).

All abstracts will be accepted and will be available online.  Authors should consider whether sensitive or unpublished findings are appropriate for such distribution.

BOARD SPECIFICATIONS

Magnetic poster boards have a display area of approximately 40 x 72.  Magnets will be available on site for mounting posters. 

JUDGING

The individual presenting the poster must be present during the entire session.  Winners will be announced at the end of the retreat.

Odd numbered posters
12:30 - 1:30 pm

Even numbered posters
1:30 - 2:30 pm
