Jennifer Niebyl, MD, retired after remarkable 50 years in obstetrics

Jennifer Niebyl, MD, has just retired after 50 years in active obstetrical practice.  She is recognized as a national leader in obstetrics. Niebyl served as chair and DEO of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for more than 21 years. She was only the fourth woman in the country to chair a department of obstetrics and gynecology. Since 2009, she has been the vice chairman for Obstetrics.
