Dr. Chen Zhao has received a grant from the American Cancer Society Institutional Research Seed Grant Program. The grant was awarded by the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center for the project entitled, "Alternative NF-κB and Notch2 Signaling in Splenic Marginal Zone Lymphomagenesis". The goal of the project is to explore the hypothesis that combined dysregulation of both the Notch2 and alternative NF-κB pathways is essential for generation of marginal zone lymphomas. The proposed project should not only provide insights into the origin of these lymphomas, but also the possibility of new therapeutic options.
