Congratulations to Dr. Mathur, recipient of a 2016 Paul E. Strandjord Young Investigator Award. His abstract entitled “Management of Patients Refractory to Platelet Transfusion Utilizing a Hospital Based Donor Center” has been selected to receive the award and will be presented at the 2016 Annual Academy of Clinical Laboratory Physicians and Scientists (ACLPS) meeting in Birmingham, Alabama, June 2 through June 4, 2016.

The University of Iowa will sponsor the 2020 Annual ACLPS meeting.
